An anonymous reader calls for apocalyptic communism.

Something often neglected in the theorisation of our movement is that it is necessarily a movement to bring about a total apocalypse. Communism, in the true sense of the word, is the absolute negation of everything that exists, the absolute politic of non-domination. Just as capital melted solids into air and profaned the holy, communism will sanctify the profane and excommunicate it from this earthly realm. The family, property, capital, the commodity, sex and gender. These are all the basis of modern civilisation and a movement to abolish this is necessarily a movement calling forth the apocalypse. Apocalypse in the original meaning (ἀποκάλυψις) does not mean complete and utter destruction, it means uncovering, it means revelation. Is this again not the project of communism? Uncovering these social relations which we cannot see yet dominate us and structure the whole world around the reproduction of these relations. As if an ignorant, omniscient god peering at us through a pinhole which could only see blood and therefore it was so. The entire collective power of mankind abstracted into an amorphous blob. Yes comrades, we desire the apocalypse, we desire both the unveiling and the destruction of our domination by capital, not only that but we desire our own destruction as individuals warped by ideology, we desire the destruction of the sex-category and the patriarchal monogamous relationship, we seek to destroy the love of the bastard, who reserves it only for who he can enslave and who he cannot live without. “Yes you complete me! but all you are is my completion”. That wretched love that chains man to woman and woman to the species. Homo Socialis will know no such love. Yes comrades, we yearn for the apocalypse, we also yearn for suicide. Death to Homo Sapien! Let Homo Socialis walk the earth and reach for the stars!
