Kevin is an active member of Cleveland's DSA chapter and the Marxist Unity Group caucus. He is currently a History PhD student at [redacted] University, where he's studying the history of inequality in the US. Prior to pursuing a doctorate, Kevin worked as a journalist and documentary filmmaker. His 2025 film Learning to Survive: A Lesson in Student Homelessness is currently up for consideration in a number of film festivals around the country. He is also an aging musician and an enthusiastic but decidedly untalented skateboarder.
